The students are tasked with the job of finding out about a significant landmark of the Gold Coast - Jellurgal. The mentors meet the Time Travellers at Jellurgal and while walking the mountain share stories, new and old, about this special place.
After lunch the Time travellers enjoy a play on the beach and discover their own reasons as to why this ancient mountain is significant to them. On their return home they are asked to decide what they believe the future of Jellurgal should be based on their experiences of the day.
Time Travellers use their imagination to look forwards, be in the present and think back to the past, They; Walk lightly on Country, Connect to local places, Sit still, watch, listen and play, Learn words from an ancient language still used today.
