Little Kagaru is an extended one-day Rites of Passage (ROP) program for Year 6 students, designed to mark their significant transition from primary school to high school.
Following a contemporary ROP framework, the program celebrates coming of age by encouraging students to step out of their comfort zones, reflect on who they are, and consider their future direction.
It aims to facilitate personal growth and change in identity, beliefs, and values; support a smooth transition between life stages; and strengthen family and community bonds.
