Year 3 Bee Detectives embark on an exciting adventure at Jellurgal to investigate why native bees are disappearing from their local environment. Through hands-on activities, immersive play, and caring for Country, students develop a deeper understanding of the natural world while building their own sense of identity, independence, and teamwork.
Over the course of a one-night camp, studnets engage in collaborative problem-solving, explore habitats, and participate in interactive play that strengthens curiosity and environmental stewardship. The experience culminates in a memorable, bee-centred activity that allows students to apply their learning, connect with nature, and celebrate the vital role of native bees in sustaining the ecosystem.
