Nosey's Adventures is a program that offers students a unique opportunity to connect with environments in the Currumbin Valley through the lens of an echidna named Nosey who strikes out on his own one day. The story adventure that follows allows students to learn important interpersonal skills such as respectful ways to interact with others, healthy decision making and social awareness. Exploring these skills by using a friendship and teamwork focus allows students to see the character of Nosey return to his parade a different echidna, who appreciates those around him much more. This feeling is often mirrored by students on their return home from camp.
By listening to story and problem-solving ideas, students follow Nosey's maps into new and exciting outdoor experiences. They develop resilience, independence and confidence in the outdoors while fostering a deeper connection and relationship with the environment around them.
The overnight version of this program affords students more time to work together and form closer bonds with their peers and teachers through shared experiences in new environments.

Students will be encouraged to step into natural environments that offers safe and rewarding challenges, strengthening connections with self, others and the living world. Experiential and place-responsive learning supports the development of General Capabilities including Personal and Social Capabilities, Critical and Creative Thinking, and Sustainability.
